Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005036108A1] The invention relates to a vehicle sensor (4) which can detect oscillations in frequency ranges caused by acceleration and impact sound. Said sensor comprises at least one measuring sensor (4.1) which can detect acceleration and structure-borne noise, a carrier (4.3) which is used to fix the measuring sensor (4.1) to a vehicle, a sensor housing, a seismic material (4.4) which is used to detect acceleration and a processing unit which is used to treat measuring value sensor signals (4.2). The at least one measuring sensor (4.1) is applied to the carrier (4.3) by a connection. The connection, which is used to apply the at least one measuring sensor (4.1) to the carrier (4.3) in a nonpositive fit, detects acceleration and structure-borne noise. The carrier (4.3) is embodied in such a manner the measuring properties of the vehicle sensor (4) are determined according to the structure thereof.
