Abstract (en)

The razor has a handle, a headpiece and a coupling unit (3) arranged at the headpiece for the attachment of the blade unit. The coupling unit comprises two support arms (10) pivoted in the headpiece. The support arms are connected one-piece with one another at their ends lying inside by a spiral spring element (30). Two bearing elements are arranged at the outer lying ends of the support arms protruding from the head piece, intervene in pivot bearing of the blade unit and allow swiveling of the blade unit around a parallel to their cutting edges lying axis of rotation. A supporting element (14,15) is arranged transverse to the axis of rotation and is movable by spring action between headpiece and blade unit. The supporting element is coupled to a prestressed spring element (13) arranged in the head piece and charges in such a way between both the bearings elements at the blade unit, that it absorbs the forces affecting lengthwise to the axis of rotation of the blade unit. A pretensioning force provided by the prestressed spring element is applied to the blade unit. A release element (20) swings out the bearing elements from the pivot bearing for the loosening of the blade unit.
