[origin: EP1671788A2] Rotary printing press has plate or cylinder (3) with lacquer transfer mechanism and a pneumatic cylinder mechanism (5) to print on the pressure gap (DS) between plate and pneumatic cylinder along the direction of travel of gap. Emitter mechanism (10,Y) is for irradiation of printed matter after discharge of lacquer. Drying after printing is done with conditioned air.
