[origin: EP1672119A1] Making a papermaking machine multilayered section (especially a screen) endless involves (A) separating free end-bonded layers (2,3) from each other at the free ends (4,5,6,7); (B) bonding the free ends by at least partly mutually melting them; and (C) bonding a reinforcing strip covering the bonding positions (10,11) between the layers.
