Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1672454A1] The method involves learning a model based on the best energy performance observed for values of a set of input variables related to the production of an industrial unit. A best configuration and best settings of an equipment are proposed in real time, to an operator, based on the settings. The settings are associated with the performance observed in the past for the current value of the set of input variables. An independent claim is also included for an industrial unit`s energy performance controlling system for implementing a method for controlling the energy performance of an industrial unit.
