Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005029522A1] The invention relates to a device for the optical display of n switch states, for a switching device or sensor, with a number of differently-coloured lamp devices for the optical representation of the information for transmission, whereby each lamp device comprises at least one lamp element. The device is characterised in that a transparent housing piece for the lamp elements is provided, the transparent housing piece is divided into segments, with optical separating surfaces, housing the lamp elements to avoid optical cross-talk, in particular, with simultaneously-activated lamp elements and the transparent housing piece with the segments and the lamp devices is embodied and arranged such that the lamp devices are visible to a user within a polar angle range from each azimuth angle.
