Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1674003A1] The structure (1) has a bedding plate (2) and side rails (3) connected by crosspieces (4), where the plate is made of a carton based material comprising a honeycomb core (5). Each rail and crosspiece is formed of a carton based material comprising a honeycomb core (7) sandwiched between carton sheets. Cells of the cores are oriented in direction perpendicular to plate`s plane when the rails and crosspieces are assembled to the plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a springer structure.
