Abstract (en)
Molding and pressing machine comprises an aligning station (20) for aligning the book cover folds (2a) at the height of the fold rails (49a, 49b), a pre-molding station (40) with a molding rail and a clamp conveyor for transporting the book (2) into the pre-molding station. Preferred Features: A pivoting aligning rake (6) aligns the books and places them on an aligning table. The aligning rake acts as a guiding element in its vertical position and centers the book on the aligning table together with a guiding sheet (28).
