Abstract (en)
The device is for the articulated connection of two wagon bodies of a multi-section rail vehicle, whereby one wagon body (2) under all load conditions with a substantial portion of its weight is supported via the device on the other wagon body (1) which is connected to the bogie (3). The torsional rigidity between the wagon bodies around the vehicle's longitudinal axis is low in comparison to the connecting rigidity of the wagon body to the bogie. Forces encountered in the vehicle's transverse direction are transmitted approximately at the level of the center of gravity of the wagon body connected to the bogie.
