Abstract (en)
The closing cylinder, with an active electromagnetic locking mechanism (3), has a locking ball (12) of a material which can be magnetized within a pocket (11), open at the top. A ring of locking pockets (9) is at a core (2) of the closing cylinder, opposite the pocket. In the event of an external magnetic field being applied, the ball is pulled partially into a locking pocket and prevents movement of the core in relation to the housing (1).
