Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1674651A2] The fire protection door (1) has a door leaf (4) and a frame (2) , and a seal (5,5a,5b) to seal the gap in between the door leaf and frame in the closed state of the door. The seal is retained in a slot (16) in one of the aforesaid door elements (2,4), whereby the seal is held exclusively by its first section (30) in the slot, and the second section (31) is located completely outside the slot. The first section of the seal has a first hollow profile and is clamped in the slot.
