Abstract (en)
The method involves transmitting fluid into a steam turbine via a steam pipeline. An inner surface and an outer surface of an outer housing (3) of the turbine are synchronously heated by a heating unit (6) such that a predetermined temperature gradient between an outer temperature of the outer surface and an inner temperature of the inner surface does not exceed a preset value. An alarm is activated when the gradient exceeds the value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a control system for controlling the temperature behavior in a cylindrical component (B) an application of a control system in a steam turbine.
