Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005008168A2] The invention relates to a pyrotechnical system, pyrotechnical objects compatible therewith and an igniting and burning off method matched to said system. The inventive system comprises a starting device consisting of a plurality of compartments which are provided with connection channels therebetween and contain pyrotechnical objects, the first compartment being provided with additional ignition means and the pyrotechnical object thereof being ignited in the first place. Said ignition means which is arranged externally on the pyrotechnical object leads an ignition energy thereto and simultaneously to an adjacent compartment by means of the connection channel, thereby igniting the pyrotechnical object in said compartment. Said ignition means externally arranged on the pyrotechnical object partially provokes a delayed ignition. A delay time is controlled by the rotation of the pyrotechnical objects with respect to the connection channel. Said combination of the starting device and the pyrotechnical objects which are selected according to the time-delay control makes it possible to produce a firework choreography.
