Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1677324A2] The method involves low pressure molding a polymer e.g. polyamide, on a microswitch (6) to obtain an intermediate body (12). Another polymer is molded on an assembly formed by the intermediate body, an end of an electrical cable (9) and a connection unit (10) using a high pressure injection machine for forming a cover (11). The cover is joined with the intermediate body for forming a lid. An independent claim is also included for a switch presenting a carcase.
