Atomiser head has a spray channel (5) with an atomising orifice and an atomising profile in the base of the channel wall with preferably non-radial channels leading to a central chamber. The channel contains an insert (20) to form the base of the atomising profile, with the central axis (X) of the insert virtually identical to the central axis (Y) of the spray channel or offset by no more than 0.03 mm. The spray channel has centering elements for the insert in the form of projections (30), preferably three in number, round an imaginary circle with the same diameter as the insert.
