[origin: WO2005035415A2] The invention relates to a spooling machine for winding a plurality of continuous threads onto respective spools. The spooling machine comprises a spool spindle for receiving the spools, which is rotatably mounted on a spindle support and projects therefrom. The spooling machine is provided with a pushing device for pushing the finished wound spools from the spool spindle and the spools are received on a pick-up mandrel of a spool transport carriage at the free end of the spool spindle. The aim of the invention is to allow for a manual operation of the spool transport carriage and the spooling machine for taking off the finished wound spools in a simple manner, the spooling machine is provided with a remote-controlled switch gear for controlling the pushing device. Alternatively, the spool transport carriage can be locked in a detachable holding device for receiving the spools.
