Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004110935A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for separating inorganic salts from lavatory waste water that is processed during recycling, in addition to decolourising said water. The invention also relates to a treatment method without a biological step, the lavatory waste water in said step also being processed during recycling to save water and reduce the quantity used, preferably in mobile units. The inventive method and device also relate to the extraction of nutrient salts from lavatory and/or urinal waste water, said method comprising the steps: ureolysis, ammonium elimination and the recycling of the lavatory waste water for flushing the lavatory. Said steps are preferably carried out in separate devices.
