[origin: FR2861086A1] In vitro method for inducing the activity of an interfering RNA (iRNA) in cells. In vitro method for inducing the activity of an interfering RNA (iRNA) in cells comprises: (1) introducing into a eukaryotic cell the protein TAT and a nucleic acid (I) that encodes the sense and antisense sequences of an iRNA, where these sequences are separated by a nucleotide sequence (X) containing at least the motif atctagctct (1) encoding at least one nucleotide sequence present in TAR, minimal and sufficient for recognition of TAT, under conditions where (I) is transcribed to RNA, so that TAT forms a complex with (X) that inhibits the activity of iRNA; then (2) inducing iRNA activity by removing TAT. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) (I) as new compounds; (2) cells, or cell lines, transfected with (I); and (3) composition comprising at least one (I) or a cell, or cell line, of (2), optionally also an excipient.
