[origin: WO2005043486A1] The invention relates to an educational device for accelerating learning to read and write. Said educational and practice device comprises cards with images and letters, and a board (2) which is used to receive the cards and has a peripheral, upwardly projecting frame (3, 4, 5, 6). Said frame is provided with slits (7, 7', 8, 8', 9, 9', 10, 10', 11, 11', 12, 12', 13, 13') that are parallel to the board plane, especially on the longitudinal sides (4, 6) thereof, in the projecting region, said slits being used to insert holding frames (14), film strips, text strips or the like.
