Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1679277A2] The method for the operating of a working position of textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins has a bobbin frame for the mounting of a rotatably winding bobbin, an individually motorized thread cross-winding device, and a calibrated sensor element which delivers a measurement signal proportional to the position of the thread guide. A correct working method of the sensor element is ensured in that in predetermined time intervals and/or event-referenced an equalizing takes place between measurement values delivered by the sensor element and defined positions of the thread guide. An independent claim is included for a device for the carrying out of the aforesaid method in which in the region of the thread cross-winding device means are provided which enable a positioning of the thread guide in defined reproducible positions.
