[origin: US2006077648A1] The subject of the disclosure is a lamp in which an integral lamp is electrically and mechanically connected to a base via connecting means. These connecting means are preferably designed in the form of clips and are substantially completely surrounded by the base and an outer bulb such that the lamp can have the form of a conventional incandescent lamp and the connecting means are pushed visually into the background such that even stringent aesthetic requirements can be met.
