Abstract (en)
The arrangement has a supply circuit supplying alternating current supply voltage to a lamp. An ignition transducer is connected with a trigger circuit on a primary side and with the lamp on a secondary side for transmission of ignition pulses. A series circuit comprises an input power source for the trigger circuit and a switch unit (40) for cyclically interrupting and closing the series circuit during firing operation of the lamp.
