[origin: WO2005042417A1] The invention relates to a gassing device for introducing a gas into a liquid, especially air into wastewater. Said gassing device comprises at least one introducing member and a membrane that is made of an elastic material and is provided with openings for introducing the gas into the liquid. The aim of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of prior art and create a gassing device that can be produced in an inexpensive and economical manner and significantly reduces or prevents deposition of aggressive matters or microorganisms on the surface thereof while the properties of the elastic material of which the membrane is made remain unchanged. Said aim is achieved by the fact that the elastic material of the membrane contains at least one embedded oligodynamically active material at a quantity of 0.05 to 20 percent in relation to the total mass.
