Abstract (en)
The medium consists of a mixture containing at least two components from the following groups of materials; paraffin, paraffin wax, vegetable wax, vegetable oils and/or silicone wax. Two components differ in respect of their mobility, whereby the more mobile of the components tends to migrate under the anticipated ambient conditions in which the impregnated wood is to be used and the impregnation medium contains pigments and/or paint.
