Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1681204A1] The device has front and rear bearing bars (2, 3) mounted inside a motor vehicle near a dome (1). A stop unit (4) constituted by trellis structure permits to prevent displacement of an object (7) carried by the bars perpendicular to the bars beyond the stop unit. Respective ends of the unit are integrated to one bar and a unit associated to the dome. The bars are adjustable in height to occupy transport and storage positions. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a long object bearing device.
