Abstract (en)
The system keeps the boats (2) in storage locations (22) on the shore region, employing a boat lift or -hoist (7). The novel feature is implementation of the boat storage locations using a mechanized- rack system or warehouse repository. Its conveying system (15, 17, 18, 19) is a fixed installation. It is used to insert and remove the boats from storage. Other features include transport to and from the lift, and holders for raising and carrying the boats.
