Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1681411A1] The cylinder has a sealing washer (20) with entry and exit slits. The washer has a secondary slit (22) with a central part (24) via which a rod of a key is held. The washer is moved between opening and closing positions. The washer has an outer circular peripheral edge (30) and a stop (32) with bearing surface (33), to block in rotation a drive shaft (36) of a cotter pin (34), when the washer is in opening position. An independent claim is also included for a lock equipped with a lock cylinder.
