[origin: EP1681433A2] The sun screening device, especially for facades, has an upper housing (9) upon which is mounted an upper first curtain (3) which is movable between a retracted position and a position covering a surface. A lower second curtain (30) is mounted on a lower housing (7) is movable from a retracted position into a position covering a surface. A curtain area is constructed between the upper housing and lower housing and in which the first curtain and the second curtain are movable and fixable independently of one another.
