Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005044778A1] Disclosed is the use of an alkene carboxylic acid N alkylamide of formula (3a) or (3b) or a mixture of two or several compounds of formula (3a) and/or (3b), wherein R<1> respectively represents an alkyl radical, and R<2> represents a low alkyl radical (I), as an acrid agent and/or (ii) in order to produce a feeling of warmth upon consumption and/or (iii) in order to intensify the taste of ethanol and/or (iv) in order to imitate the taste of ethanol.

[origin: WO2005044778A1] N-alkyl alkenamides (I) are used as sharp-tasting substances, for inducing a temperature-independent feeling of warmth, for enhancing or imitating the flavor of ethanol or for inducing salivation. N-alkyl alkenamides of formula (I) are used as sharp-tasting substances, for inducing a temperature-independent feeling of warmth, for reinforcing or imitating the flavor of ethanol or for inducing salivation. R-CO-NHR2> (I) R : R1>CH2CH2CH2CH=CH- or R1>CH2CH2CH=CHCH2-; R1>alkyl; R2>lower alkyl. An independent claim is also included for a nutritional, oral hygiene, semiluxury, cosmetic or dermatological product comprising (I).
