[origin: WO2005028800A1] A window or door structure (1) comprising a frame (2) and a sash (3) provided with a plate-shaped element, such as a glass pane (4). The sash (3) has a peripheral sash part (3b) located peripherally outside the plate-shaped element, and the structure (1) comprises fittings located between the plate-shape element and the frame (2) for interconnecting the frame (2) and sash (3). The fittings connected to the sash (3) is provided with a supporting bracket (12) with an extension (12a) that is concealed located peripherally outside the plate-shaped element and is secured to the peripheral sash part (3b). In order to ensure a strong connection between the sash (3) and the supporting bracket (12) at least a portion of the peripheral sash part (3b) extends between the extension (12a) of the supporting bracket (12) and the plate-shaped element.
