Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1683438A1] The rod has, at a far end an applicator for a cosmetic product. The near end is designed to be connected to a sealing cap, such as for a container for the cosmetic product. The rod is made of injection-molded plastic, and hollow in form. The rod has a continuous transverse wall. The wall (6) is formed for the applicator above a retainer area (3) for the applicator. The rod is made as a single piece with a wall (9) and has an inner geometry which enables a form fit with a corresponding container. An inner thread (10) is provided in the form fit area of and a diameter of between 2 and 10 mm.
