Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1683559A1] The toy is operated to follow a track and by a current collector having a metallic bus bar mechanism cooperates with the track. The toy is moved by an electric motor and for the optimized traction a magnet is provided, which is directed toward the bus bar mechanism of the track. The magnetic field strength of the magnet (22) is impacted as a function of driving conditions of the vehicle propelled by the electric motor (16). The magnet is accessed for the operating current of the electric motor. The magnet is connected by conductors (23, and 24) with the electric motor. An independent claim is included for a method.
