Device has thermocouple (40) which directly determines temperature difference [(Tli-Twi) and/or (Twa-Tla)] between wall surfaces temperature (Twi,Tla) and appropriate temperature (Tli,Tla) on one sides of wall (20,30). First temperature sensor (50) determines appropriate air temperature. Second temperature sensor (55) determines absolute air temperature on other side of wall.
