Abstract (en)
The method involves moving a yarn guide (25) in a direction of zero position by a step motor (34) and positioning yarn guide against a detent downstream of zero position at a slow speed. A rotor of the step motor is moved to two stop positions by switching off the step motor. The step motor is switched on by electric power to move the rotor to the specific stop position in which the yarn guide is in its zero position. An independent claim is also included for zero-position determining apparatus.
