Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005025370A1] The invention relates to a hair clip comprising two clamps (1, 3) which are articulated such they can move in relation to one another in an open position or in a closed position. According to the invention, a link (11) is fixed to each clamp and is stretched therebetween such that, when the two clamps are moved from the closed position to the open position, the link is elongated and exerts a return force opposing said movement in order to return the two clamps to the closed position. In one embodiment of the invention, the two clamps (1, 3) are articulated by means of two coaxial shafts (61, 62) such that, when the two clamps are moved from the closed position to the open position, the link can pass between the two coaxial shafts or between two coaxial cylindrical links in order to exert a return force that will return the two clamps to the open position.
