Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005048791A1] The invention relates to a metering device (1) for powdery, flaky, or fine-grained dosing material (3), preferably coffee powder, milk powder, or cocoa powder. Said metering device (1) comprises a container (2) for accommodating the dosing material (3). A metering chamber (31) is embodied at the outlet (4) of the container (2) for dosing one portion of the dosing material (3) at a time. Said dosing material (3) is emptied into a receptacle via a discharge port (18) each time an actuating element (11) is actuated, the dosing material (3) being impinged upon by a flow (39, 36) of a blowing device (22) when being discharged in a metered manner. The inventive metering device prevents the discharge port (18) of the outlet (4) and the discharge point (39) which is formed at the free end (24) of the tube section (19) from being blocked.
