[origin: FR2861282A1] The device has sampling needles (10, 11) for piercing a vein in an umbilical cord and/or a placenta, and a collecting tank (20) connected to the needles through a tube. A suction unit (30) is connected to the needles and adapted to the suction of umbilical cord blood that is supplied to the collecting tank. Sampling and/or injection ports (51-53) are disposed between the needles and the collecting tank.
