[origin: WO2005045356A1] The invention relates to the impact part of a projectile which enables the safe activation of piezo ignition systems within a large angle range ( alpha ) on the target (Z). Annular shaped recesses with embedded circular rings (3) engage with the target and prevent ricochets therefrom. A thin-walled, spherically shaped tip (2) prevents greater disruptive influences on the subsequent hollow charge (4,5). Said targeted fragmentation on the target is achieved due to the impact part whose dimensions conform to the rules of fracture mechanics.
