Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005046270A1] The invention relates to an attachment for a facility for using a radio-assisted telecommunication and/or information service whose use is bound to identifiers. The aim of the invention is to provide a device which allows corresponding facilities to use the service even if the latter requires an authentication by means of an identifier while the respective unit per se does not have a corresponding identifier. The attachment according to the invention is a mobile unit having a transceiver unit for the wireless exchange of data with the respective facility used to access a service. The attachment comprises a receiver for an identifier module for using the service and its proper power supply. The identifier module can be addressed by the units of a facility operated with the attachment in order to use the service. The attachment represents a passive unit with regard to the actual use of the service and especially does not have any radio transceiver unit of its own.
