[origin: EP1685768A2] Outer garment comprises a ventilating arrangement consisting of an opening (1) and a cover on the outer material (3) over the opening. The edge of the cover is joined to the outer material and the cover is spaced from the upper material between the regions on which the cover is joined. The cover has a closing strip (7) in a region in which the cover forms an opening with the outer material. Preferred Features: The outer garment has a membrane which is waterproof, wind resistant and permeable to water vapor. The edge of the cover has four sides, is connected to the outer material on opposite-lying sides and one side forms the region for the opening.
