[origin: EP1686066A1] The container has a container body (1) with a lid (2) including an attenuation region. An opening and closing unit is connected with a top side of the lid to design a pipe shaped removal region. The removal region is formed in a circular side wall (4). The wall descends into a connection region (7) for connecting the opening and closing unit with the top side of the lid, where the region (7) protrudes perpendicular to the side wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a reclosable container for foodstuff and beverage.
