Abstract (en)
The carrier has upper and lower plates (14, 15) acting as supporting devices, which are mechanically connected with each other such that a narrow gap is formed between the devices. An induction coil (11) made from a single continuous winding wire including windings is inserted in the narrow gap such that the coil is clamped through the spacing of the supporting devices. The spacing lies within the range of the coil dimension. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an induction hob including an induction heating device with an induction coil (B) a method for manufacturing an induction coil.
