Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1688195A1] The tool (2) has a roller body (12) rolling around a shaft (11) of a press roller (8). The press roller and a counter-body (10) are guidable together in a linear manner relative to a sheet metal to be processed and lying between the press roller and counter-body, for forming the deformation of the sheet metal. The roller body exhibits multiple roller discs (14, 23) that are adjacent to each other. The roller discs collectively form a section of the roller body, which is connectable to the sheet metal to be processed, where the roller discs rotate around the shaft independently of each other. An independent claim is also included for a sheet metal deforming device comprising a roller tool support.
