Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1688243A2] The method involves monitoring individual tablets with regard to a property of condition during a pressing process. A bad-signal is generated if a tablet does not fulfill the property of the condition, and the bad-tablet is directed into a bad-channel by an air stream directed into the bad-channel. A good-tablet which fulfills the condition is directed from a die plate (4) of a rotary press into a good-channel (6). An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for sorting tablets at a rotary press for making tablets.
