[origin: EP1688571A1] The swivel bearing mounting for a swing window has a plate (1) fixed at the fixed window frame and a plate (2) at the swing window pane frame, with an intermediate arm (4) between them. To swing the window into an open ventilation position, the intermediate arm rotates around a swing axis (3) against the fixed plate, with the window turning in a swing movement around a second axis at a maximum angle for ventilation. Both swing axes have a mechanical brake, where one brake (6) has a stronger action on the intermediate arm in one direction than in the other, using brake strips (6a,6b) with different coefficients of friction.
