Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005030588A1] The invention relates to a bag forming, filling and sealing machine that is designed as a machine having a continuously moving tube. The machine comprises a device for lowering the transverse seam welding machine (5), folding device (6) and lifting device (9) synchronous with the downward movement of the tube. The inward movement of the welding jaws of the transverse seam welding machine (5) and of the folding elements of the folding device (6) is controlled up to the final point of each in such a manner that almost no relative motion occurs between the welding jaws and the covering material (1) at the upper point where the welding jaws come into contact with the covering material (1), whereupon the transverse seam welding machine (5) is lowered synchronously with the downward movement of the tubular bag.
