Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005040513A1] The invention relates to a one-piece drainage channel used in surface drainage, which comprises a cast, elongate base especially made of a concrete polymer. The inventive drainage channel comprises a top surface which can be driven over and which has inlet openings open towards a channel compartment, lateral walls and a bottom and front faces for connection to other drainage channels, catch pits or the like drainage installations. The channel compartment comprises adjoining limiting surfaces, especially a ceiling limiting surface facing the top surface, lateral limiting surfaces and a base limiting surface. The aim of the invention is to provide a drainage channel which is highly stable and easy to produce even at large channel widths and lengths. For this purpose, at least one lateral limiting surface and the base limiting surface or the ceiling limiting surface are configured to extend from the one to the other front face in such a manner to give a conically tapering channel compartment. In this way, a massive core can be used for casting the drainage channel.
