Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005054682A1] The invention relates to a rotor (20) for a compressor, in particular a gas turbine, comprising a plurality of moving blades (25), which are arranged in the form of a ring about the rotation axis of the rotor (20) and which are each maintained in a peripheral turned groove (21) on the rotor (21) by means of a blade root (26), whereby a widening lower part (27) of said blade root (26) engages behind two shoulders (24), formed on the lateral walls of said turned groove (21). The aim of said invention is to extend the lifetime of such a rotor. Said aim is achieved, whereby the depth (T) of the turned groove (21) is substantially greater than a minimal groove depth (Tmin), a strength of rotor (20), which is sufficient for start-up, being thus obtained in the area of the blade mounting, according to the predetermined material characteristics of the rotor (20) and operating conditions of the compressor.
