Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005055387A1] Disclosed are a circuit system and a method for controlling an inductive consumer, especially protecting the consumer from being accidentally turned on. Said circuit system comprises a free-wheeling circuit (FLK) for reducing energy stored in the consumer (5). In order to prevent the consumer (5) from being accidentally turned on when the grounding wire between an energy store (6) and the circuit system is interrupted, said free-wheeling circuit (FLK) is interrupted after a given period of time (<t) once the consumer (5) has been turned off such that the consumer (5) is prevented from being charged by a current flowing from the positive pole (+) of the energy store (6) via the electronics (7) of the circuit system and the free-wheeling circuit (FLK).
