Abstract (en)
Method for aligning a piece of washing (70) comprises clamping the piece of washing in a region furthest from a first corner (71). An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the aligning method. Preferred Features: The piece of washing held on the first corner is pulled by an end gripping unit and is gripped by the unit close to the rear end in the tensioning direction. The gripping point can be lowered to align the gripped edge (72). A corner sensor is joined to a first edge gripping device (56).
